As working artists we are constantly adapting to quickly changing reality.
Right now this means learning to better market my work online. And, learning to adapt to my family being around my home studio all of the time.
Carving out quiet time to paint has been harder but also more important. Sometimes that means I spend more time sketching when there is a moment to spare. It means I need to schedule my own time to paint and make sure it's not interrupted. I value time with my easel more than ever before. It is my quiet refuge away from a busy household. It is a place to embrace new ideas. It is essential for my sanity that I continued to paint and sketch.
